Dicto Citius was founded in 1998. Since then, the chief executives, certified graduates of radio engineering, of the company have accumulated more than 10 years experience in the field of telecommunications and 6 years in the field of satellite communications.
In 1999 Dicto Citius implemented broadcasts of the first 4 Lithuanian radio programmes over satellite.
In 2001 regular TV3 Lithuania, TV3 Latvia and TemTV transmissions were launched from Vilnius and Riga. Satellite Earth Stations were installed by Dicto Citius to connect people in Moldova, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo and Lebanon to the World Wide Web. Dicto Citius signed Installation and Maintenance Agreements in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia with Belgacom, Plenexis, HNS, Triaton, Telenor, Teledenmark. The engineering staff became familiar with the Operational Guides and requirements of Eutelsat, Intelsat, LoralSkynet, Intersputnik and Apstar.
The company is proud for recently realised projects such as satellite TV stations for the major Lithuanian TV programme broadcasters and content providers. Since recent years Dicto Citius has been installing metro networks based on CWDM and 10G DWDM platform for TV carriers, ISPs and state institutions. Designed and configured solutions and services of the company are used in applications requiring the highest level of reliability.
In 2003 Dicto Citius expanded its range of services and began providing terrestrial connection technologies. The cause of such development was the Local Multipoint Distribution System (LMDS) service. Using high-speed intercity data transfers, the company's network now covers 5 major cities in Lithuania.
In 2006 Dicto Citius became a partner of MICROSENS.
