SV-1800 is the converter which tunes and demodulates received DVB-S signals from satellite or DVB-C signals from HFC network.. The output is MPEG-2 TS without decompressing or encoding. PALA/V and S-video output are also available.

SV-1800S is the model for satellite digital signals. This model is widely used in satellite digital TV, satellite digital radio, Internet, etc.

SV-1800C is for DVB-C HFC network and MMDS 8GHz microwave system.. QAM demodulation instead of QPSK demodulation is used for SV-1800C. The TS without decompressing or encoding can be directly sent out into MUX or relay upon requirement.

SV-1800 consists of five modules:

Tuner SV-1800S: satellite digital signals converter RF input: 950~2150MHz from the output signals of LNB SV-1800C: DVB-C digital signals converter RF input: 48.5~860MHz of spectrum signals from HFC network Digital demodulation SV-1800S: QPSK demodulation SV-1800C: QAM demodulation  Data process The unit processes digital data after QPSK demodulation Output Interface The unit converts MPEG-2 TS for ASI or SPI interface Decorder The unit decodes the digital TV signals in accordance with MPEG-2, then encodes signals to PAL/NTSC video for output through A/V and S-video interface.
